Fashion Show
Wednesday 8th September 2010
This fabulous fashion show will be held at Great Parndon Community Association with doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets cost £5. Fashion Show

Hockerill School, Bishop’s Stortford, 7-10pm
Katie is organising a fashion show for St Clare Hospice with tickets costing £5 per adult or £2.50 for those under 18 years old. There will be plenty of stalls selling jewellery, lotions, clothes, cakes and refreshments. Call 07505 144978 for information and tickets.

 

Plume of feathers Charity Quiz Night

As part of the £1000 challenge, The Plume of Feathers in Loughton will be holding a charity quiz night. Lots of fun to be had on the night, with great beers and wines available to help lubricate the brain!

Metropolitan Police Sports and Social Club, Chigwell
7pm for 7.30pm, Carriages at 1am.

Charity Pool Tournament at Debden Pool & Snooker Sports Bar
Sunday 26th September 2010
Debden Pool & Snooker Sports Bar will be holding a charity tournament in support of the St Clare £1000 Pub Challenge Campaign. Tournament will start at 6pm, with trophy and cash prizes available for winner and runner up. Entry price is £10, with £3 from each entry going directly to St Clare Hospice.

Jazz Evening

Waltham Abbey Friends of St Clare Hospice
Are pleased to announce an evening of Jazz at the Waltham Abbey Church Centre, 7pm for 7.30pm.

Fishing Competition
Saturday 2nd October 2010
Clavering Lakes, 8am breakfast, 9am peg picking for a 10am start - 4pm finish.
Fishing expert and radio presenter Keith Arthur will be attending the event to meet and chat to the competitors throughout the day.
Families and friends also welcome—have lunch at the Lakes’ Lodge.

Chelmsford Prison Jail Break!

Chelmsford Prison, 9am-midnight

The Essex Boys and Girls Club (EBGC) are organising their annual Chelmsford Prison Jail Break on Saturday 2nd October. At 9am you will ‘escape’ from prison and have 15 hours to get as far away from the prison as possible, without spending any money on transport. Fancy dress encouraged. Get sponsored to take part – the money will be split between the EBGC and St Clare Hospice. It costs £15 for a team of 3. Manuden Fun Run

A maximum of 450 runners will be permitted to enter the 10k and 5k runs            
All runners are encouraged to carry personal sponsorship in aid of our 2010 charities Beating Bowel Cancer and St Clare Hospice.

Geraldine’s Hair Salon Charity Quiz Night

Tickets are now available for October’s charity quiz night, which is taking place at Parsonage Court in Debden on the 9th October 2010. The evening will start at 6.30pm with a Pie & Mash Dinner. Quiz starting at 7pm. Ticket price (including meal) only £7 per person, with £5 from each ticket going directly to St Clare Hospice.
