Get Involved - Make A Donation - Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a tax relief scheme whereby any money you donate is ‘topped up’ by the Government at no extra cost to you. This means for every pound you donate to St Clare Hospice the tax man will give us an additional 28 pence.

Whether you give £1 or £100, Gift Aid can be used to provide the Hospice with much needed extra funds.

If you are a UK taxpayer you can Gift Aid donations you make to the Hospice. However, you must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax which is equal to, or more than, the amount of tax we will reclaim on your donations in the tax year.

We are able to take your declaration by phone; simply call Lindsey on 01279 773750 or you can download a declaration form here and return to us by post.

 

Our shops are now accepting Gift Aid declarations with donated goods, increasing the value of your furniture, clothes, books or bric-a-brac by 28%! If you donate goods to our shops and you pay tax just download and complete this simple form, take it with you next time you take goods into one of our shops and our shop team will do the rest.
