A Hospice service looks after physical symptoms, emotional reactions, spiritual questions and concerns of life, such as finance and living independently. Importantly our care is free to patients and their familes.
We care for a patient’s family as well as the patient.
Here are some details of how we can help:
Day therapy

In-patient care You may come to stay in our In-patient unit to help get your symptoms under control or for a full assessment of all your needs. You may only need to stay for a few days before going home again. Some patients choose to spend their last days with us because they know the care they will receive is outstanding. They will live whatever time they have to the full with dignity.
Bereavement counselling
Supporting family & friends
Carers Group Carers group supporting you Caring can be exhausting, leaving you on an emotional roller-coaster. Why not let us support you. Join our six week programme, available to carers of patients known to St Clare Hospice. Come and meet others, share your experiences and lean on us for a while. We will be able to provide you with information and advice to help support you as much as the person you are caring for. You will also have the opportunity to benefit from complementary therapies, such as massage and reflexology. This group is about how we can help you. You will have the chance to decide which sessions you would like to attend and which would benefit you the most. |
