Each year, it costs over £2 million for St Clare Hospice to provide specialist palliative care to local people and we receive just 30% of this funding from the NHS. The majority of the remaining money is raised through the generosity of our local community which has supported us over the last 18 years. We really do rely on this generosity to help us continue our vital work.
