Help us paint the town pink!

A big thank you to everyone who took part in the third St Clare Hospice 10k Midnight Walk on Saturday 19th June. 1,445 walkers registered to show their support for the Hospice and they have pledged a fantastic £96,000 in sponsorship towards the care of people with life-limiting illnesses in West Essex and East Hertfordshire.

If you have raised sponsorship or would like to make a donation to the work of the Hospice, please send your completed sponsor form and cheques (payable to St Clare Hospice) and mail to Midnight Walk, St Clare Hospice, Midnight Walk, Hastingwood Road, Hastingwood, Essex, CM17 9JX. A big thank you to everyone who helped with the Midnight Walk event. Over 100 volunteers helped in the office and on the night; we simply could not have run the event without them, so thank you. A big thank you also to Blue Printing Company, News International and Geoffrey Matthews Estate Agents for sponsoring parts of the walk meaning more money comes directly to the Hospice; Harlow Police, Raynet, Old Harlow Fire Station and St John’s Ambulance for their support in keeping the route safe, Water Gardens for hosting the walk,  Ten17 for promoting the walk on the radio and their website and for keeping the crowds entertained, the Star newspaper for all their support, Nando’s for the donation of prizes and discounted food to all the walkers, Harlow Leisurezone for providing the warm up, and also to all the companies who provided us with something free of charge so that more money could come to our patients – Bookers, Alistage, Glaxo Smith Kline, Rowley’s Van Hire.
