At St Clare Hospice, we rely
on the support of local people and organisations for three
quarters of our funding. We need to raise at least £2000
a day to enable St Clare Hospice to provide the services
that are needed so much. This may seem an impossible task
but with the help of people like you we can do it!
Fundraising is fun…
Helping at fundraising events
or organising your own is fun. You can meet new people,
work as part of a team and have the satisfaction of seeing
a worthwhile job well done.
Let us help you do it…
We provide advice and administrative
support to help you organise your event. For example, we
can produce posters, tickets, St Clare merchandise for a
stall, and much more.
Street Collection…
This is one of the simplest
ways to raise money, but we seldom have enough collectors.
If you could spare an hour or two to hold a collecting tin
and give out badges, please contact
the Hospice to find out when we need collectors.
Other ways to help St Clare Hospice…
Donate items for raffles and tombolas.
Make a donation. If you do this please indicate if you
are a tax payer as charities may now claim back tax paid
on all donations. Offer a refundable loan in the living
legacy scheme. Arrange for St Clare Hospice to benefit in
your will.
Fundraising events…
Hundreds of fundraising events
take place every year to help raise money for St Clare.
Events may raise £20 or £2000, but each one
helps us.
If you would like to help in this way, you can:
- Join a local group that arranges events for St Clare
- Organise an event yourself
- Help with events arranged by the Hospice fundraising
team
- Encourage your friends and colleagues to be involved
How about?…
- Coffee morning
- Quiz night
- Raft racing
- Wine tasting
- Cockney evening
- Golf day
- Parachute jumping
