Whether you are a novice or an experienced runner, we have a range of running events which will help you put your best foot forward and raise money for the Hospice. When you sign up to run for St Clare, you will be sent a running t-shirt, sponsor forms and plenty of training and fundraising advice. If none of the below events appeal to you, Runners World website lists many runs happening around the country. Visit their website to find a running event suitable for you and we’d love to have you run for us!  

 

High Ongar 10K Run
Sunday 4th July 2010

Thank you very much to everyone who came along to the High Ongar 10k run which was supporting St Clare Hospice for the first time this year. You can view the results from the day here. 

 

Adidas Women’s 5k Challenge
Sunday 5th September 2010
Entry is now open for the annual 5k run or walk round London’s beautiful Hyde Park. Entry costs £15 and £5 will be donated direct to the Hospice, so please contact us for an application form or you can apply online. Please select ST CLARE WEST ESSEX HOSPICE CARE TRUST from List B. Let us know if you are running for us and we will send you a sponsor form and t-shirt.

 

Manuden Run
Sunday 3rd October 2010
We are delighted to have been chosen as one of the beneficiary charities of this fun run in Manuden. Participants can either take part in a 1k, 5k or 10k run. Download a registration form or enter online on their website.

 

Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon
Sunday 10th October 2010

General entry to this year’s Royal Parks Half Marathon filled within 3 hours! If you were lucky enough to obtain your own place and would like to support St Clare during our 20th anniversary year, please call (01279) 773750 or email fund@stclarehospice.org.uk to be sent sponsor forms and a running top. All of our guaranteed entry places have now been filled.

 

Santa Fun Runs
December 2010

This year we are hoping to have not one, but TWO Santa Fun Runs, happening in Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. Everyone who signs up to run, jog or walk the course will receive a free Santa Suit (adults) or Santa hat (children). They are really fun events for all the family so please get in touch to be added to our mailing list for when the event is launched in the next couple of months. Silverstone Half Marathon
Sunday 6th March 2011

Ever fancied taking to the world famous Silverstone race course? Well you can…on foot! Run 13.1 miles round the motor racing circuit for just £15. Entry is now open online and if you would like to support St Clare Hospice, please contact us for a running top and sponsor forms.

 

St Clare Hospice 10k run

Get the date in your diary early for our popular annual 10k run. Entry will open later in the year.

 

Virgin London Marathon
Sunday 17th April 2011
The public ballot is now full for the 2011 London Marathon. The Hospice has a few Gold Bond places which we will be allocating in October. If you are interested in applying for one of these places, please get in touch.
