Three Peaks Challenge
17th-19th September 2010
Three mountains, three countries….in just 24 hours! Are you up for the challenge? Following the huge success of last year’s first St Clare Hospice Three Peaks Challenge, we’re looking for another team of supporters to climb Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England then Snowdon in Wales, over just one weekend. Registration costs £75 and we ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £500. Read more about the trip here

 

March Madness Bungee Jump
Saturday 12th March 2011
3…2…1…BUNGEE! These are the last words you will hear as you jump off a crane with only a piece of rope round your ankles. The Hospice is organising it’s second bungee jump, to take place in Stansted. If you fancy taking part in some March Madness, contact us for more information.

 

Climb Kilimanjaro
17th-27th March 2011 or 15th-25th September 2011
Conquer Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Climb to an altitude of 5895 metres. Marvel at the diverse ecosystem from cultivated farmlands on the lower levels, through lush rainforest and alpine meadow to a barren lunar landscape at the top. London to Paris Bike ride
11th-15th May 2011
Cycling through beautiful English villages and into the stunning countryside of rural France you'll pass historical landmarks and famous battlefields from World War I until you reach Paris, undoubtedly one of the most magical places on earth. The sense of achievement you'll experience will be one you'll cherish forever. Read more about the event here. Registration costs £99 and the minimum sponsorship level is £1,350.

 

Trek the Great Wall of China
8th – 16th October 2011
Explore different sections of the Great Wall of China in the hills around Beijing. Head deep into the countryside away from the places where tourists normally visit this majestic structure.  Afterwards visit the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square during free time in Beijing.
