Get Involved - Shops - Volunteer At Our Shops

Each of our shops has a full time manager, but we could not run our retail business without our dedicated teams of volunteers.  As little as two hours a week can make a difference.  Shop volunteers can get involved in some or all of the following:

• Sorting, cleaning and pricing donated goods

• Checking and pricing new goods

• Merchandising and window display

• Keeping the sales floor clean and tidy

• Cash desk duties

• Customer service

• Shop administration

 

No experience is required and if you are friendly, reliable, happy to work as part of a team, with a few hours on your hands each week you could volunteer for us. 

 

We also need volunteers who would like to help run a shop whilst the manager takes a day off or holiday. As well as the above, volunteer shop supervisors will open and close the shop, cash up and do basic computer work.  This role is ideal for someone who would like to develop their retail skills with a view to returning to the workplace.
